Feet wet

Just thought I'd stop by to introduce myself. Been a long time lurker here and I love the community and open discussions you guys have with no flaming. For the last 9 years I have been playing with fish tanks, in fact when I was a kid I used to be part of the maintenance team that handled cleaning all the fish tanks in the school classrooms. I think that is where I first found my love of aquatic nature. I started with a little 30g freshwater tank and eventually moved up to a 55g saltwater setup that a friend let me have about 6 years ago. Recently I bought a whole new 55g setup on Craig's list including a sump with refuge and hang on back skimmer box, also including a nice 48" T5 light with led moonlights.

My main interest now is getting my new tank setup for Reef life. I have been messing with Saltwater fish for a while now but have never made the jump into reef care and maintenance. With my new tank setup I think I am ready. I came to introduce myself as I feel I will need to start utilizing these forums more for my own questions about my aquarium and an introduction is as good a place to start as any. 8)
