What do you guys think? I wanted to put a filter sock in the drain area.

Any potential problems with this design?

The corner will look like that without the Plexiglass Eurobrace on top.

    Thanks.

I'm having this custom built by an aquarium company here in Nashville. That what they specialize in.

I don't have a quote from them yet but im expecting a $300 bill before tax.

What is the distance between the top plexi-glass and the strainers? Luna

There is no top plexiglass. Thats a Eurobraced design without the standard black rim. Mine has a black rim just like a regular aquarium.

If you guys ok the design, im can order it today.

are we talking display tank or sump cause both the pics you posted are displays, and I wouldnt use a filter sock if you paid me, just another thing to trap stuff that your skimmer should be catching

I know they're display tanks. The company custom modifies them however you want.

Im gona use the sock on the Refugium end since it doesn't hit the skimmer before returning to the tank.

The overflow looks good to me (I'm assuming that's what you're asking about), as long as you can get the proper amount of flow over that for your pump.

i wouldnt put the sock in the overflow, maybe in your sump if you really want one, but depending on which corals you have and if you have a fuge i wouldnt
they will build the overflow so there shouldnt be, the top of the overflow should be 1.5" below the top

I know theres isnt a top glass, I was referring to the space between the Eurobraced and the strainers of the overflow. Luna
