I would keep the flow in the medium to high range. They need higher flow to help them keep clean and to slough off their skin periodically. Slouching is normal.

Leathers are very moody...it can take quite awhile for them to fully acclimate to a tank. They will tolerate a wide variety of lighting, but don't need it to be all that intense. As for flow, I would agree fairly good flow is better...especially when just added to a tank they will tend to cover themselves in what appears to be a "waxy" coating...it's actually a layer of mucus like material and it will need some decent flow to help clear it away. That said you don't want too much flow either...you don't want to beat the coral with flow that is too direct or laminar...bouncing the flow off the glass to break it up a bit or the use of some type of "wave maker" will probably make for the best flow for softies.
