    hi i found this fish called a fingerprint for under 20 bucks anyone know anything about it i dont know whether im gonna buy it or not

    hmm never heard of it, looks neat. Must be a close relative of the the valentini puffer

    Fingerprint puffers are beautiful fish – active during the day but not reef safe. Google Canthigaster compressa and you will find him.

    oh good thing i checked because there site trying to sell it says that it is . i hate the stores that dont care. Is there a puffer that is reef safe

    As with dwarf angels, triggers and other fish like that, it really depends on the individual fish. Some people have saddle puffers who are fine in a reef tank, others may have one that nips at a clam or lps occasionally, but causes no real damage and then it may destroy everything.
