We need more info. How old is the tank? If you are cycling with this clown like many people do, it is probably under a lot of stress and not feeling to well right now. How long has it been in the tank? New fish can sometimes take a while to acclimate to their new surroundings. Is it wild caught or captive bred? Some wild caught fish will never acclimate to captivity. Any signs of illness? Check the fish for white spots, fast breathing, or any other signs of him not looking quite right. Good luck

My first clown was a bad clown that would not eat at all and eventually perished. My second would not eat but I found him staying fat. I did find out he was eating pods late at night. He eventually came around and started to eat regular food with the other fishies. As long as he is eating something he should eventually come around. I was recommended cyclop eese and it works. They do not need a anemone. he'll survive with out one.
