Ouch!!! I had an arrow crab in my tank before. They are very cool & never had a problem with worms in my tank. Most of the time I saw it taking out another worm. They are very good at what they do. The main reason, they are called an arrow isn't because of it's shape. It will use it's "pointy head" to spear it's prey including fish. They are not reef safe. I was always buying more snails, do to the fact the ones that chose to stay at the bottom or fell were goners. My 2nd cleaning shrimp stayed very far from it. Noticed I said 2nd, the first one wasn't so bright.

my fiancee freaks out now every time i (cautiously) put my hand in the tank. Picked up a Lionfish to nurse back to health here about 2-3 weeks ago now.

My mandarin seems to enjoy eating my bristle worms. I got a few in a coral shipment and plopped them right in to the tank (crazy I know since everyone is trying to rid their tanks of them, not add them!) for the mandarin to gobble up. He got to one before it even hit the sand! I leave em be and I don't bother removing them from LR/coral etc.

*If you really want a good idea of the worm activity in your tank try looking up at the underside of your tank with a flashlight. You can see all of the trails and possibly some rather large worms that way. I found a whopper of a worm but I let him be since he hasn't caused any harm.
