It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Fire fish from my experience are very shy initially, it may take months for them to feel comfortable enough to venture out.

All fish are different it could take weeks, days or longer. Fire fish are passive, they will swim in the water column when they feel comfortable enough to do so.

Over the years I have eight Fire fish and all hid initially.

What works in your favor is that your clowns are still small and not overtly aggressive yet. In such a small tank you need to consider that tank mates should be able to stand up to the clowns.

Young clowns as you have stated yours are do not show the same aggression as a mature clown. Yes your clowns will become aggressive eventually as they mature, and the limited territories of a small tank compound that aggression. Other fish have no where to escape to.

No that is not what I posted. You need to be patient and give your fire fish time to acclimate to the tank and the other fish. Fire fish hide in bolt holes in the rock work, eventually the fish will venture out more and more.

If you want a tank busy with fish swimming all over all the time you need a larger tank.

    Personally I love fish fish.

Im not even sure where to post this.

Sorry for the negative comments, but please listen to what the members are suggesting. I have read thru all your threads posted and Ive heard all sorts of different things...from tank size to what is acutually in the tank. Is it fish with live rock? do you want corals? I think from what I have read, your tank is fully stocked with two clowns. I would remove the urchin. Your best bet is to read, read, read. Questions are great and always welcome, but please understand what it is you're are trying to accomplish.
