Ok guys its been about 3 weeks since I wrote about the new tank so here is whats new...I messed around with the aquascaping so i have 2 small islands of live rock at either side, I am very excited because my base rock is turning from white to look more like live rock and I started a fuge next to my sump. I have to get a light for the fuge and cheato algae and then i will let it go for at least another month.

no D: i hate seeing fake things in saltwater tanks it takes up swim room and also room for live rock which is absolutly crucial what is the "base" rock you used it looks like ceramics to me? but otherwise good start

Cool, going to be very unique as the tank matures. I seen people glue green star polyps to them and mushrooms. :)

it has been quite some time since my last post. where to start, well i have had sometime letting the tank cycle through. I have looked through my tests and the nitrates, nitrites and ammonia are all 0 ppm. pH is at 8.2. I decided I was tired of looking at a tank with rocks and sand so I bought some snails. I went to the LFS and got 2 margarita snails to test out if things will survive in my tank. some of the rocks are showing coralline algae, which is fantastic. I will probably be buying a fish next week. I will keep you all updated.

Im thinking I will add a pair of ocellaris clownfish and then im not sure. I would really like to add a coral of sorts the only problem is im not sure if my 1 t5HO light will have enough for it...maybe a BTA to host the clowns
