a pair of clowns would be my choice. they add so much life to the tank and i have never had any experience with them bothering anything but other clowns. if you would do a pair make sure you get them at the same time though.

well the only extremely aggressive stuff i can mention are some triggers, and eels (eels are blind pretty much so they dont really know what it is so they go after it.) if you dont want and overly large fish then i like the dwarf lionfishs, they arent extremely aggressive as you can see by my sig and they are kinda colorful depending on the kind you get. they dont hurt corals but you cant really keep any small fish with them. clownfish are cool too and firefish (thou you wont see them much). with a 72 you cant really get just about any fish. its the reef part that might bring a little trouble. go to the lfs and get a fish you like and know a little about (we dont liewk it when people buy on impulse: it usually doesny end good.) OH and you could get a mandarin but i would seed your tank first with copepods then wait a month or two before buying it. the market is open to you my friend. you just have to read and wait for the fish to come.

i think if you are making a reef tank clowns are still the way to go. their colors are bright and complement just about anything, fish or corals. plus watching them play is fun. i also have a firefish and he spends most of his time out and about. a pair of firefish would be really cool too. they have some funny personalitys also. both of these are very hardy. chromis are a good choice too. but if you were to do a manderin wait months. the longer the better. they will need an abundance of pods. i had one die on me even when he was eating frozen foods and brine.

I have little white bug almost everywhere on my tank. there no bigger than a millimeter, but i dont know if there copepods. and do you think that a manderain would eat all of them or no?

yes they would wipe out a population in a matter of months i suggest that no one gets a mandarin unless there tank has been established for a year and and it is atleast 65 g. also you would probubly want a fuge. i say no to the mandarin very difficult to keep for someone inexperienced. i would look in wrasses my personal favorite is the sixeline wrasse also maybe a cardinal fish or two. i also second the chromis idea you couldget 3-5 of them and there a great fish to watch

and supratt yes they probubly are mandarins and i say dont get one. for my reasons read above thread. i know there cool fish i want one so badly but i cant because i have a sixline wrasse and he eats pods and the competition would definatley starve the slower moving mandarin, if your set on one do a ton of research look into pod farms, or refugiums and give it time and make sure you dont have any fish that will eat pods so theres no competition

I got the clowns! a small 1.5inch and a large 2.5inch false percula clowns.
at the store they were in different tanks but when I put them in mine they paired up as soon as I dumped them in! so far so good.
