gratz, that looks like it will make a nice setup.
is the manifold on the return pumps just to spread out the flow a bit instead of just one higher flowing outlet?

Is money an object? If it is, craigslist is a great place to shop. Do some homework though so you know what to expect when you pick up the supplies or people will try to rip you off.

Lights... If you have plans to do reef in the future, it would be good to just go all out and get the lights you'll need now, rather than buying twice. Read up on NO, HO, and VHO, and MH lighting so you can be educated as to what they mean and the differences. :) if you've never done marine before a good beginners book helped me out a lot!

Oh, and you'll need some powerheads for some water movement in that beauty of a tank.

Thanks for the help guys. Ill be cleaning everything today and trying to get something started this weekend. Is there a step by step guide to go by or? Im only wanting to have fish and rock. So what do I need to do next. I dont live in a big area so craigslist really isnt an option. Ill have to go to Vegas most likely.

Put the sump up on some 2x4's - dry it all off on the outside and then fill it up with water until it starts leaking. You should be able to use a paper towel to see where it is originating. Just keep wiping off the outside with the paper towel, then flatten a new dry one up against the area... The first part to get wet is your leak. The 2x4s are just to get it off the ground in case it's in the bottom.

    Hope that helps!
