I have a 100 gallon with live rock. I had a kole tang, two clowns, two wrasses, algae blenny and dart fish. I noticed the kole tang was hiding alot and then a few days later i found it dead. A few days later the algae blenny and clowns were dead. I did a large water change a couple days ago. And yesterday, one of my wrasses was not coming out and today I found him dead. All my water parameters are good. The only thing I have not checked are my phosphates. They have all been found dead in the morning. I have turbo snails and hermit crabs that have been fine.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Welcome to 3reef.

How long has the tank been set up?
What were the visual symptoms of the fish prior to them dying ie: spots, pale, gasping at the top?
When you say parameters are fine, do have specific values?
Can you tell us more about the system ie: flow, filters.....?

    TIA

Anything noticeable with the fish? Any new behavior before they died? Any new additions in the last week or two? Since it isn't your parameters it is obviously something else. I was wondering if some nasty parasite or something made it in to your tank. First thought that is that deadly in a community tank would be brooklynella.

Yeah as she beat me to it... Lol what about the rest of your tank specs. Possibly even stray electrical current, maybe?

It's been set up four about 4 months. Running a canister filter with built-in uv sterilizer and hydor koralia 1400's for flow. Hob remora skimmer. Zero nitrates and nitrites. Ph is at 7.8 I did add the two wrasses about two weeks ago. The only thing i noticed before they died is they were not eating and would stay mostly hidden in the live rock. They did not have any spots or pale skin
I did turn the uv sterilizer off cause i read it would helo spread the corraline algae

what is your salinity? where do you get your water for water changes and top offs? Have you added anything new to the tank or started dosing anything new?

Maybe leaking voltage? This is a tough one.

sounds like an oxygen problem to me, I'm wondering if when you turned the uv off that let bacteria that was in the tank go nuts and eat up the oxygen in the water.
do the fish look like they are breathing heavy? if you notice the larger fish seem to be dying first. this is one thing that makes me think oxygen. larger fish need more oxygen than smaller. also fish that are very active need more. are your power heads pointed to the surface of the water? also turn the uv back on

i had something similar happen, i didn't have a clue what was happening. fish that looked healthy were dying. all perimeters were spot on. but i was running bio pellets, and decided oh ill turn my uv off. thats when this similar thing happened. i lost 5 fish before i realized what was going on. did a water change, i turned the uv back on, turned the pellets off and added some bactor7. i also put an airstone in the tank. over night. it turned it around and the rest survived.
so turning a uv off i feel could cause a bacteria explosion that would eat up oxygen

I don't think it is a hitchiker since the fish were hiding for a few days before found dead. I'm not convinced about the turning off the UV Sterilizer is the cause either. Not saying that couldn't be it, but I am leaning towards something else is probably wrong.

Have you tested for copper? What brand of salt are you using? I think it is Kent just had a recall on some salts. Also, have you had somebody else check your salinity? What do you use to check your salinity as well? It could also be stray voltage in the tank as well, but the fish are dying days apart.

Where do you get your water from for your water changes as well? Could this be a chlorine problem that is slowly poisoning your fish?

7.8 ph is kinder on the very low side for saltwater
