fish have ich!!

    Something like that is personal preference. I noticed a ton of salt creep with an airstone in my 29. If you can deal with that, and like the look of them, then by all means, keep it in there. Extra O2 never hurt anything.

    i have never noticed any salt creep on my tank, the only time dried salt is on there is when the water drips on the glass when im messing with the tank and it dries on the glass and i just wipe it off, i dont really have any salt creep problems.

    I don't with my 72, although I had it bad with the 29. Weird. Sounds like you should keep it then.

    ill probablykeep it. my clowns like to play in the bubbles. maybe its because the altitude here or something i dont know.....?

    So how are the fish? IMO the best solution for any ick problem is hypo, but if you have no QT then I really don't see anything you can do except feed garlic and keep the immune system up.

    the fish are acting fine, i havent seen them twitch or rub on rocks or anything, they are acting as they always do they just have the spots on them

    bubbles can hurt fish and corals over time...i dunno about the size coming from a bubble wand...but i dont know that i'd chance it myself...saltwater creatures are too expensive to kill with air IMO

    how would it hurt the fish? also its at the back of the tank where there are no rocks so it doesnt tough any coral

    I remember reading something about coral ingesting micro bubbles. I have no idea if it is factual or not.
