What is it? I first thought it was a blenny but its not. I didnt know he was in the tank until recently. It seems very shy and hides within the rocks. It looks like some type of stone fish but I dont know. Which maybe a bad thing since it could be poisonous. I think its a stonefish because the eyes look like they are all glass with no pupil. I think he hitch hiked from a rock that i pick up at the beach

I am not familiar with Stonefish, but I agree the body shape does look similar. I suggest changing the title to something with Stonefish in it to get Greg from Lionfish Lair's attention. He knows his stuff with them.

Cool snag. Be care about picking up rocks and talking about it. FWP in Florida will fine you and snag you.

There are no stonefishes indigenous to the Atlantic Ocean, so it's definitely not a stonie.

From your photos, the fish resembles a stippled clingfish from what I can see in your photos, but it could be a scorp of some type. Can you get some better (clear) photos showing the whole fish from the side?

Doesn't look like a stippled to me, those pectoral fins look modified for walking IMO, like an angler. (not saying its an angler, just that the fins are similar) if you look closely in the second pic, you can see frills around the bottom jaw.
