I think one of the reasons we all love our salt water tanks is that many of the fish have such strong personalities. That said, we have two clowns, one black and one true, that are very friendly with our other fish as well as fun to watch. The black one head butts my hand any time I put it in the tank and the true surfs in the wavemaker on a regular basis. We have no anenome, and they don't seem to care. We had an older pair of clowns that came with our first tank, and the female was a real *$&#* with anything else we put in the tank. I'm pretty sure it was a result of being in the tank so long with no other fish. I traded them in for youngsters and have not had any problems as they went into the tank about the same time as the rest of our fish. We also have a six line wrasse, which is one of my favorite fish. Friendly, fast moving, not afraid to be seen out front, never had one try to jump out of the tank. Same goes for our yellow coris wrasse - beautiful fish, friendly with its tank-mates and no problem with the open top tank or eating corals.

I have 2 true percula and they're beautiful and gentle. When the tank gets older I'll get them an anemone. They don't even swim away when I put my hand in the tank. They let me pick them up.

They're not as fun to watch though as the tangs. The tangs are always doing something very fun to watch. Since they are omnivores they're constantly picking at rocks looking for algaes and scraps.

Seems there's a lot of factors on how well fish get along. Species, when and how fish are introduced, tanks size ect. I put most of my fish in all at once and they get along great. The Damsel that was in there for the cycle is less sociable but is getting better.
I have a couple of Bangaii that I like also I guess the closest thing to a lion that I'll be able to get.

Don't get me wrong, I love wrasses. The issue with them is many tend to be jumpers and I don't have a top on my tank. If not for that I would definitely get a wrasse of some sort.

Naso Tang or Powder Brown Tang, I love the colors on them. Green Chromis are fun to watch and add a lot to the tank.

I wouldn't put a naso, vlamingi or any other tang of that body type in anything smaller than a 200 gallon they get way to big

Powder brown or blue would be a good addition as long as your sailfin doesn't flip out to badly, their normally a pretty docile tang though

I think the Sailfin would not do well with it, not to mention that I'm kind of "tanged out" anyway with two decent sized tangs in a 120.
