as some of you know, i have a lot of rock in my tank and a very unique aquascape. I want to know what fish i should get down the road. I wanted colorful, vibrant fish that like rockwork and like swimming in and out of it. I was thinking a 6 line and a royal gramma, but thats all i came up with right now. It needs to be a peaceful tank so they feel comfortable coming out to eat and everything. That was my problem with my other fish (my previous 6 line and royal gramma). They would not come out of the rockwork and they starved themselves to death. I really wanted a 6 line, royal, and a pair of b&w clowns but thats too agressive. Thats my deam stock list :D So what are your recommendations? I want vibrant! and remember, i have a 22 cadlight and all the equipment is in my signature. And ignore the livestock list cause thats gone.

    thanks,
    ryan

I definitely recommend a royal gramma. I have one and love her! She swims all day long, but does enjoy the rocks as well, and she's very bright and fun to watch. However, I think at least 30 gallons is recommended for the royal gramma because they are very active and grow quite large.

Fire fish are really pretty and don't require a very large tank. Also, neon gobies (especially gold) are pretty and stay small.

One fish that I have is hard to find, but I love him. He's a red head elegant/elongate pseudochromis. Although pseudos are usually fairly aggressive, the red head is not. He's bright, loves to swim in/out of the rocks and comes out no problem to eat. Maybe your local fish store could special order you one, or you could find one online. Here's a link to a picture and some info: Red Head Elegant Pseudochromis

Have fun and let us know what you choose!

What about cromis? They would fill out the water out of your rocks with some good movement.
