I've got 6 chromis in my 65 - very cool to watch them interact and school. Other suggestions are a flasher wrasse (different kinds available but definitely an interesting fish) and if the sandbed is 6" or more a jawfish (different kinds as well)

Wish somebody had told my pajama cardinal fish that. :D Once it got big enough, it ate every single shrimp I had in the tank. :(

I rate personality of the fish right in step with its name sake :) I have never met a Sgt Major I liked :) They run the tank and they run the Army ! I have seen Capt's to go around the long way so not piss them off LOL They eat Lieutenants for a snack... Not a good fish at all and if you wear Army Drab Green Not a good person to upset..

Yeah even though they look cool I would like a semi-peaceful tank

If you want a cool fish and if you do not want to keep shrimp ? As I mentioned above The Red Flame Hawks are very very peaceful and pretty and really personable fish just do not put any fish a lot smaller in with them either..

i have a sgt. i like him i say them in cancun and wanted them. I definitely have a aggressive tank so he fits right in. i thought my domino damsel moved fast when food was in the tank but the sgt damsel easily eats 5 pieces of food in the time it takes the others to eat 1. Ive never seen one turned drab while its true there base silver color turns darker they keep the stripes and yellow

That statement was from experience rather than anything I was told or read. I have a single skunk shrimp. I have two banggais. Those three have been together for nearly a year now. I guess the shrimp is too big for the banggai? I never would have known if you didn't tell me.
