Fishless

My only fish jumped about a month age and since I'll be moving in 3 or 4 weeks I've deceided to wait untill my tank is settled in it's new home before I add any fish. Question is about feeding. I have hermits, snails, zoas and shrooms. I've been adding a little cyclops once a week is this enough to feed my cuc and bactieria?

 

you should be okay. zoas and shrooms dont need food , just light. your snails should be okaY , they will feed off your alage. your hermits are scavengers, so they will eat whatever they can. maybe even you snails if they get hungry enough. you amy want to try and keep some pellets in the tank t5o keep the hermits fed.

 

all my hermits and snails come running when the pellets hit the sand, the rest will break down and feed the bacteria for the next few weeks.

 

I agree I would stop feeding cyclops becasue its a bit small for the crabs and feed them Crap Pellets. The shrooms and zoo's are photosynthetic and require no feeding.

 

That must be some smelly food.

 

Thanks, also have flake and mysis maybe I'll switch it up a little. Can't wait to get some fish! It's a 30 long and was thinking a goby or blenny and a pair of clowns. Maybe I'll spring for misbars or black and whites.

 

Guess I was typing when you posted. Why do you say smelly?
