Okay I bought a Flame Angel today. I acclimated him or her with a drip line for about 2 hours into my 29 gallon quarantine tank. He will have to stay in the tank for a couple of months as I am in the middle of getting my display cycled. Quarantine tank has been cycled and running for several months. I have mushrooms and a small coral of unknown type in my tank. Anything I need to know or advice on keeping? Expensive but appears to be very healthy fish.

Might eat corals...nipping at them,..was told might be better in lg reef systems because you wont notice the nipping....smaller systems will show his nipping more visible if he does nip.

Seems to be doing okay today. Very active swimmer.....I mean non-stop back and forth. Is this good or bad? Normal?? Is picking at live rock in the tank. Is there anything I should do or try to get him to take food? I have frozen pygmy angel formula.

I dont trust angels in reef tanks. Sooner or later they will start to nip at the corals. Flame angels, like most angels, are very active and always looking for food. GL with it.
