Did you check the floor around the tank?

I don't have a lid, but I have a canopy, he would have to jump about 18 inches out of the water and hit a 1 inch gap in the canopy to be able to get out, not impossible, but highly unlikely. I have not checked in the sump though, I will go do that right now. I honestly think he is just hiding though.

I don't think my chromis are evil like yours, they mostly stay at the top of the tank, but you never know.
Not in the sump or on the floor, I'm sure he is either hiding or was a nice meal for my clean up crew.

I didn't mean for that comment to sound sarcastic or anything, which I don't think you took it as so. Just going back to read it, it sounds a bit short. I lost my flasher and six line to the carpet b/c I didn't have a lid on my tank. IMO, flashers are usually fairly active fish, and usually won't hide this long. Hopefully though you find him.

No worries, I did not take it that way, it was a good suggestion and after you posted I did check the floor.

Good news, He did make a short appearance. when the lights finally came on I was looking for him and he was behind the rocks. I got a couple of pics for you guys and fed the tank, a little early for the food but I wanted to make sure he was eating. He did eat and went back into hiding, I think he is just a little shy. sorry the pics are not too good, he is behind the rocks where I never clean the glass.
