flatworm problem

well guys i have had a flatworm problem for a wile now but lately they are getting out of control im tired of sucking them out when i do my water change when i went to my lfs today i seen salifert flatworm exit has anybody used this please help :-[

 

I had a problem with them a few months back... what worked for me was increasing circulation a lot with a strong powerhead - Tunze Turbelle - after I noticed they were hanging out in the dead spots.

I had hundreds, now I don't see them anymore after a couple weeks with the powerhead.

The Exit chemical is supposed to work well but I didn't need to use it.

One bad thing about using flatworm exit is that  if you have a lot of flatworms  and you use it the flatworms release a toxin When they die that may poison your tank and kill everything in it!! So if you plan on using it siphon as many as you possibly can out before doing so!!!!
I also had a problem with them, I siphoned them out a few times and I also increased my water flow As Matt stated and they seem to be almost completely gone ;D They do seem to hang out in dead spots

 

yeah i did notice that they seem to hang out in dead spots but its time to do something about this problem i will not sleep until i get rid of them :-[ OK so here is the game plan.
i will drain all the water get rid of everything and get some of those cool land crabs ;D ;D ha ha ha just kidding but really i made a very sophisticated tool for removing the flatwoms ok ok so its not all that. i actually seen it on the web somewhere all it is is a hard tube from a undergravel filter with a hose attached to it and at the end of the hose a filter media bag to catch the flatworms so while i am sucking them up they get trapped and the water goes back in the sump this gives me allot of time to get them out since there is a crap load of them :-X > :'( well i just sucked about a million of them out of the tank and they just don't stop i'm tired going to sleep ;D kidding my game plan is to get rid of as many as i can over a period of a week or two since they like lite as there is more room now the ones in the rocks should come out every day then i will dose it with salifert flatworm exit and also will get a six line wrass i had one before but it did not help there was probably to many fw's if any should appear he should eat them as i found with my battle with aptasia when there is to many the butterfly and peppermint wont touch them after using joes juice to get rid of most of them the animals finished the rest have not seen any more aptasia so hopefully my theory is the same with the wrass
i will update you on the results as this might be helpfull to someone else you guys are so good at helping people i want to return the favor to somebody that needs help if anybody got any imput on this let me know i am always open to suggestions

Sounds like a good plan to me, i never had any flatworms (crossing fingers right now). But if i ever do your plan seems pretty good to me.

well i also have heard that when you buy a new coral attached to a rock you shoul put a couple drops of fw exit while floatong the bag and if one is trying to hitch a ride it will kill it peaople say that if you dont have flatworms and you dont use fw exit dont buy anything so after i get rid of them i will do this to every animal

 

has anybody else used salifert flatworm exit
