    Yah I found out today at the LFS that a good friend of mine ownes, that they can't be used with a wave maker unit. I didn't really ask why though. Might be like you said or somthing.

    I did though find somthing that I really liked. So I bought it. It's the VorTech MP10. My friend said that it is a very very nice wavemaker and powerheads all in one. He actuly has the 40 model in his shop display tank and he loves it. He said that one should be pleanty of warer movement for a 40g. Know if I only had water in my tank I could put it to use.
