So i have a biocube 14 that has the stock return pump (137gph). I also have a Koralia 1 (400gph) running in the same tank. Lots of current and i love my Xenia and Kenya trees waving in them. Tank is doing well but i am a newbie, so i just take things as they come while learning from reading all the time! My biocube 29 is still cycling and i am know thinking of how i should upgrade the flow in it. So of course i am looking into the Koralia 2 (600gph), and along with the stock return pump on the Biocube 29 (243gph). Will this be a good amount of flow for the Biocube 29? I am eventually going to upgrade the lighting, so i may be adding some SPS later on!!!! Whats your thoughts on the subject, as well as any other modifications i should consider while starting this new tank?;D

I think that you are right on track.. I think I biocube 29 is a great tank and a koralia 2 would be good.. I personally would go with a koralia 1 and a koralia nano in the 29 to give the option of higher and lower flow in certain areas that you like.. JMO.. hope it helps..

That should be a perfect start for your flow. That will give you about 30x tank turnover. When your ready to bump it up to some SPS just throw another K2 in there and you will be right in SPS flow range. How far from cycled is that tank by the way. I gotta come check it out when you get some coral in there.

wow.. I have 2 K1s in my 30 and I think they are too much at times.. but then again, I have a bunch of xenia and I swear they think fish swimming create too much flow.. I need more SPS!!!
