I don't know about you guys, but if he's a flying fish that sounds like a good candidate for being a carpet surfer. Hope you have a cover or netting over your tank :p

Let me see, fish with wings in a tank..... Yep he is most likley destined to end up on the carpet. There are over 40 known species of flying fish, most of which reach a length of about 18" or so. I am sure yours is a very young fish and the transparency will pass a it gets older.

Duuuude you can see his BRAAAAAAIIIIIIN. Someone poke it with a stick.

Well, if he grows, and grows, and grows, and he's still healthy, you know where you can send him back into the wild. If something happens to him, well...he'll become food for somebody. Do you have to acclimate them when putting them in the ocean? :D :D

Firstly, lol... bad idea to go back in the wild... the decision to catch this fish could result in an upgrade or a meal :p

Secondly.. I would imagine yes

Yes I've heard they eat plankton and some forms of algae. Dont know anybody that has tried to keep them before though. Maybe add runway lights down the top of your tank so he can take off =P

Well even tho its a cool lookin fish i would have to say it was a pretty bad idea just to scoop him from the ocean and stick him in a tank with no idea what he eats or other requirments it may have. but if you say they eat plankton maybe you could go scoop some out of the ocean for it!
