flying fish?

    yeah its worth a try... and easy too, all you have to do is mimic your local conditions and see what happens. im sure they are easy to keep since they are a really common fish!

    just be careful not to spook it because you might have to chase it down some 600 feet off of a nice glide lol

    I think its worth a shot.. They fly in our boat all the time.

    Yeah that would be interesting:) but i don't think an uncovered tank is really an option.:p

    id have to agree, if it wasnt covered what if it were to fly out of the tank when you were not around? that is practically a given for an uncovered tank even though it only does it when spooked there are a lot of things that spook even non flying fish to jump out on occasion...

    Do you not think it would be comical? Surely a fish in any format hitting someone in the face would be funny, but one flying out your tank..... now thats genius!

    I can see it now, on 'the planets funniest animals'

    actually on that show the 1000 worst ways to die... some girl was fishing, fish jumped out of the water and into her mouth, then extended its fins which caught into her cheeks and she suffocated to death because she couldnt remove the fish...?
    I still dont think i believe it but apparently it happened
