Sorry I haven't been on recently. All my fish are doing fine! I got the 40 gallon tank and am waiting to get a stand that will handle 300lb of water. And after I get the stand I will have to scrub down the tank. I have a special cleaner I bought from PetSmart to clean the tank so I am good for that.

Yeah, 1 month is definitely still new.

    Welcome to 3reef;)

I, on the other hand, have been so busy at work and juggling trying to fit all of my old free time activities into a schedule now with 40+ less hours that posting on 3reef has come to a minimum.

At your present post rate, in about 3 years you might still be considered a newbie. ;D;D;D

Welcome. I'm pretty new here myself. 300 lbs. might be for the water, but don't forget about the weight of your live rock (if you are getting some), sand (or whatever substrate you will get), etc. I'd make sure the stand can handle more than 300... possibly 500 lbs to play it safe.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
