    For those of you that don't know me, I also contribute to a couple of blogs. I've been experiencing a little block as of late but our newest resident troll took care of that this morning. Thought I'd share it here for your enjoyment.

    Now I'm curious... who was the troll?

    Perhaps I should read the blog.

    Cheers!

    Who they are doesn't matter.

    Why?

    I'm sorry.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    ::)

    And the environment must be just right for them to make their first appearance. A scent of negativity must be present and plenty of unsuspecting victims. A troll is only successful and satisfied to those that feed it, those experienced with trolls know that ignoring them is like kryptonite to them.

    3reef rarely exudes the right environmental factors to attract them. ;)

    Thanks Dingo. It was all in good fun and not directed at anybody in particular.

    You need not explain a troll to me and 3reef has plenty of them. That article was written in fun and I got the idea from one such person after reading the 5th or 6th post only a troll would make this week. Who it is doesn't matter, the fact they gave me fodder for the press does. I posted it in The Bucket because it doesn't matter and honestly if it had been written for the other blog I contribute to I wouldn't have linked it here at all. Marine-Engineers is owned by Mike Rice and as I'm sure you know, he sponsors 3reef. I've sent him an email concerning this article, if he thinks it's immature and overstepped the boundaries of etiquette then I'll trash the post on his blog and ask Matt or the mods to do the same here.
    Trolls will troll no matter the environment and professional trolls will create the environment if it doesn't exist. And you are correct in saying that ignoring them is the best form of getting rid of them.
    The problem with written word is that the reader takes it in ways the author never intended. Especially in this format. If I'd been pointing at someone in particular I would. I'm not afraid to speak my mind. I thought about disclaiming any finger pointing in the beginning of the original post but decided most of us are intelligent enough to realize that the writing is not pointed at "who" but rather a "they" and get my sense of humor.
    Now Corailline, please don't assume I'm angry or upset by your post. I gave you the long explanation because I respect your opinion and value the small on-line friendship you and I share. :)
