    The problem with having coral in there is that the stings can hurt the Seahorses who lack scales when they wrap their prehensile tails around the corals. My professional aquarist friend who I mentioned above has noticed increased gas bubble disease with coral in the tank.

    typically you wanna stear clear of noxious corals mainly LPS...some softies are ok but in my old seahorse setup the only things i kept in with them were gorgonians, sponges, and various tube worms.

    Yes "NO LPS or SPS" only sofites, thats why I mentioned Leathers, Mushrooms and zoa's. they are fine with seahorses.

    Macroalage is also a good thing for them to hang out on. This will also be a beneficial tank as it will keep macroalgae growing for the tangs and dwarf angels in the reef.
