If they are eating fine leave them in the tank they will fight it off.

I would try garlic in their food first..and lots of it. Freshwater dips can be very stressful..

The best way is to quarantine and treat them with copper or formalin. I learnt it hard way and lost flame angel, coral beauty, royal gramma and yellow tang in 3 days because I waited too long.

FW dip will really stress out a Tang. If it stops eating then use a QT but that will also stess the fish so I would only do that if they stop eating.

my blue tang and clown both had ick many months ago, however they kept their appetite up. i started feeding dried seaweed with garlic and added a small uv sterilizer....it quickly went away and I haven't seen any signs since. can't confirm either of this two were the "cure", both that was my success story:)

I waited too long also. I lost my powder blue, 2 ocellaris clowns, & 2 anthias in 3 days. This was 2 weeks after I saw the first signs of ich. I moved my sixline wrasse (my only survivor) to a qt with copper, where he still dwells. That was nearly 3 weeks ago.

I'm no expert and am not telling you to take an otherwise healthy fish out of a tank. Only know that things can change quickly, and be prepared.

Freshwater dip is a last resort.
