oh yeah....dont feed the angler for at least 5 days now that he ate the damsel....it might kill him!

Also, feed your live food good quality food and soak them in Alpha-Omega or another type of HUFA/Vitamin mix. No goldfish, etc ever!

SWEEET! yea im currently looking to buy a 50+ gallon tank just for him so he has LOTS of hunting room. I was thinking the same thing, maybe starve him out a little and i like your advice about as long as there is live fish we wont be interested. It seems to be that way. I fed him one ghost shrimp then did the jig wiggle with a peice of soaked silverside on a clear stick of plastic and he eyed it, when it fell off the stick it floated right up to him and he gulped it down. I have not been able to get him to eat another frozen peice so.... I think your right, i think the best way is to get him alone so he doesnt even have anything to eye. Thanks for the skewer idea also! i was tryin to get all fancy with like a claw DIY contraption lol! this will be MUCH easier. Now about this fishing line idea..... will the fishing line hurt him? im affraid he might swallow it down with the peiceo f food or not be able to get the food off the string. I guess ill just have to try it out. Thanks a ton shak, i needed someone with some experience in this department.

no problem! I am actually eyeing a wartskin angler that was just shipped into the store today! I really, really want him, and already have a set up for him, but these guys ship horrible and almost need to be at the store for a while to make sure they survive the shipping!
