Im getting 2 heads of frogspawn on Wednesday and am wondering how to care for it and have a couple of question

Ive heard it does good in medium flow which I have

What about light should I put it high up in the tank?

Ive also heard that clownfish will host it and that it stings like an anemone

I have a pair of clowns will this thing sting me though?

also heard that you can feed it mysis is that required?

Don't worry, they are pretty hardy, it likes moderate flow, moderate light, but in my experience, it will do best under lower light. You can spot feed it, but it's not necessary. I've never heard of clowns hosting a frogspawn. If for some reason yours do, I wouldn't worry about it, if they fish are getting stung, they should leave.

It'll like good flow but not so much that it's tentacles are being bashed against it's skelly or surrounding rocks. That will damage/irritate the coral and could lead to BJD.
Don't know how much light you have. The less useable light into the tank will mean getting the coral up closer to the light. I have 5 watts/gallon and my torch does excellent on the bottom @ 16".
I never feed it but it does eat whatever meaty stuff the flow carries to it when I feed the fish.:)

I've never done any research into pc lights so I really can't say. In powercompact speak what is 65 watts = to in say an incandecent bulb? I know you have to have more than 2watts/gallon of useable light lol.
I'd start low and move it if it doesn't seem happy after a couple days. Just don't over do the handling/moving to avoid stressing the coral and give each move a few days in between to let the coral adjust.
Sorry I can't help you more with the lighting part.:(

Until recently my 75g DT was almost filled with frogspawn, all different colors but I got rid of a few of them to make room for more corals. I've watch them grow from 2-4 to 30+ heads in less than 2 yrs. I still have a few big ones (20-30 heads each) and from my experience they like medium flow, medium light, you could spot feed them but I don't. My 2 false perc clowns use to host one of mine but they were tearing it up so I got them a BTA.

I don't have any experience with PCs but you'll probably need more than 2x65w, especially since they are PCs.

Don't really hate on them, I just have no experience with them. But from what I've read and most reefers that I know that switched from PCs to T5s, MH or LEDs said the move was an improvement....but like I said, this is all just hear-say to me.

On a side note, personally I don't always go along with hear-say in this hobby. Sometime you need to do your own research and make your own decision. I think it all depends on the type of corals you plan to keep.
