just bought a froggy and was wondering if i can wedge the main branch between some rocks or do i have to leave room around the main branch for new ones to grow? Or shold i just put it in the sand bed for now?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Congrats,

    Mod and flow and lighting.

Many times I wedged mine between pieces of LR or put them in pieces on PVC (if the frags were small) on the sand bed.

The Euphylllias do poorly if they fall to the sand bed with polyp heads down so a secure place is best.

Be carful wedging it in somewhere. Often the branches are fragile and can break easily!

i did notice that a baby branch that was like a pin sized fell of during transport home. for now until the lights come back on tomorrow i set the main branch into the sand until i see how it expands. i know the bottom is the place for it as it came out of a bio cube with LEDs and i have MH T5 combo lighting

+1 I had a decent sized head that was doing awesome, until my BSJ dug under it in the sand and knocked it over. It was completely gone within a week

Give it time. It can take them a few days to open up. Specially if you keep playing with it ;).

Agreed, it may take a couple days to acclimate. I have found my Euphyllia like moderate (and not direct) flow. Make sure it is low in the tank though, to start at least.

I purchased my frogspawn about a week ago and its been on the sand bed. I have it in a 75 gallon tank with an Aquaticlife 4 bulb t5 fixture with stock bulbs. Anyone tell me about how far up on my rock it can go? I know it says moderate light but moderate compared to t5s, MH or LEDs. Its has opened up everyday since i purchased it.
