    just wondering what i should be feeding my frogspawn, also how do you know its actually eating what you give it?

    Personally, I've never feed mine. It catches mysis and brine shrimp when I feed my fish. Otherwise, clean water and light.

    I give my frogspawn mysis shrimp every other feeding using a turkey baster with the fans off. I also had some phytoplankton to the tank once a week.

    Mine only really grabs onto cyclops, and occasionally brine. whatever sticks to the tentacles is generally eaten unless a hungry fish is nearby.

    but how do you know its eating it? Is it like an anemone when it eats?

    does it move its tentacles to its mouth or does it go back into its base?

    EDIT - sorry ive never really seen a coral eat before

    I feed mine bits of cut up shrimp. The tenticles move the food to the center of each head where the mouth is. Its pretty quick.

    i feed mine a little mysis for growth whenever i feed my fish.
