Ok so i have to start thinking about building my fuge. My tank has been running for 35 days and im ready to take on my next project. So this is what i have in my head so far, Im goin to need a bunch of input because I wanna do this pretty good.

I have a 29g glass tank that i want to drill and put a bulkhead on, but i have never drilled glass. Also with my setup I dont think its goin to be possible to gravity feed the fuge from the DT. My DT only sits 20 inches off the ground 2 inches higher then the sump. Whats the OTHER best way to a low flow into the fuge? Ill add some pics so you can see what i have to work with.

This is where im going to place the 29g on an 8 inch high cinderblock stand so the water can gravity flow back into sump.

You can find good video's on youtube about glass drilling. Your going to drill the DT also to make it gravity fed to the fuge? If not, then you going to need an overflow and siphon pump.

why not get another smaller overflow on the back of the tank and let it gravity feed to the fuge? Is that an option?

You were clear. I had brain fart there for a minute. Be sure to put ball valve on the intake and return so you can control the flow. I like that you have the room behind the DT to hide the sump. I wish I did.

Hmm im not sure, maybe with a small hob overflow, but it would have to be the perfect size so i dont know, the top of the fuge tank is higher then the bottom of my DT. not sure if that would work.

set a small pump (like a rio or a mag) in the sump on the DT's return side (incoming to the sump), running to the fuge. Then just gravity feed the fuge's return to the return side of your sump
