Fuge+Nitrates

    I am getting my fuge down and still waiting on my cheato ball and have high nitrates. I attribute this to the new ness of my tank even most of the water was from other tank and lack of algae. Just cause your fuge may have droped your nitrates in the end don't mean others arn't in a diffrent stage of matureing there fuge.

    how long generally would it take a 20 gal. fuge to establish itself?? i also used water from my old tank to set up my 55, and im having a lot of problems

    Disclaimer: I Factually Do Not Know but;

    I don't think a fuge needs too much time at all. It may take some time to get the Nitrates down depending on the level you are at and the production level of your system.

    With proper lighting and healthy Cheato, I believe you will see some difference inside of two weeks-Ceteris paribus.
