Hey guys can you please look at these pictures and tell me if you notice anything unusual. His belly looks rigid and not uniform. Swollen. He eats and moves around fine but I just noticed the odd shape. And it's more so on one side than the other. He's been eating large bits of nori, which surprised me. But I'm not sure why his belly would look like this. Can you even see what I'm talking about from the pics?

Honestly, I think he is just gorging himself and wouldn't worry about it.

yeah i see what u mean. maybe he's just eating too much? lol. if this was freshwater it would be easier to identify because i would know it would be dropsy, but I haven't seen this before. might want to ask around a little.

I so wanna give him a little squeeze! lol :) maybe he ate a hermit crab! Who knows. His underneath should be more streamlined. I would imagine he'd have to eat a lot to make it appear rigid like that. Or we have some inter-species love making going on and he's a she after all lol!

Fish tend to put on weight kinda like men over women - they get a beer belly instead of a uniform fat around them. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, my clown does that occasionally. Eats a ton of food one day and then gets a nice fat belly for a couple of days. If it's still eating then I wouldn't worry about anything right now.
