Funky Mushroom? ID anyone?

    Does anyone know what this might be? My best guess is some type of mushroom or possibly a carpet anenome. It is under a 150 w 14k sps halide and 2 65 w 420/460 actinics. It survived a near extintion of all the inverts and corals that happened before I took over care of the tank. Since I first noticed it, it has thrived and grown from 1/2" to about 2" in 6 months. It also has a second head budding off that is hidden under it and not visible in this pic.

    They are very cool. Bought a rock with 2 small ones on it a while back and now my tank is full of them. Has to be 30 or 40 of them and some are the size of baseballs.

    +1 on St Simon you can get these from coralmorphologic.com pretty reasonably. I have several that Ive gotten from them and they are super cool. I love the ugly
