Funny Extremism

I never once said they aren't allowed to have their beliefs. They are even allowed to have passionate and extreme beliefs. My belief is that they are extreme and quite silly. If you agree with their beliefs, that's fine with me. Clearly, I don't. I don't have a problem with agreeing to disagree with people.

 

oh my....there are just not enough emoticons for me to express myself after having spent 1:47 watching that video......at least by publishing this electronically, I am not causing anyone else to suffer such a great loss by killing another tree. (is there a sarcasm emoticon?)

As long as they stay in the woods to scream and stuff, that's fine by me. But honestly, yelling at trees and rocks and crying at such high decibel levels does NOTHING. Because let's face it, trees and rocks can't hear. At all. Period. You can yell and marry the trees all you want, but in the end all the trees care about is photosynthesis and dropping their clothes in the winter time. And don't even get me started on rocks...

What people need to realize is that nature is not kind or merciful. It is simply fair. For there to be life, there has to be death. I'd be more sad about animals dying than trees. Too bad I eat animals parts on a daily basis. Because most food animals don't give a crap about me either.

I guess I just have a logical view of life. seeing people yelling at trees and crying about them does not tug at my heart strings, it makes me question their sanity. I wonder how many trees and rocks were killed to make that camera they had. And to make their houses. And their computers. They're wasting their time as "natural extremists" unless they live fully and 100% off the land. Do that, and I'll be impressed.

Trees may not feel like we do, but do you have any idea how much it angers the fairies when they have to keep re-planting trees because of us?
