Due to the design of the geo, it does not need a second chamber.

Other brands really pretty much need a second chamber to operate efficiently. Geo's are also good on making the CO2 tank charge last longer by not wasting any.

I would 100% go with a reef fanatic regulator versus a milwaukee or similar one which are not known to be that good of quality and fail.

Heck, my GEO had a MKE on it new as many do, and the MKE regulator failed ina bout a year. the reef fanatic ones are well built and reliable. Sure, they cost about 40 dollars more tha the mke one, but they don't seem to fail.

That looks like a pretty neat regualtor. Do you know of anyone who has actually used one?

Yeah, it does look pretty interesting. I don't think anyone I know has one though.

As a buyer for industrial electronic goods, the idea behind it appears to be sound. The solenoids can fail, but rarely do as long as they are a good quality one IME, but the needle valve is the issue with most of the regulators.

    This one eliminates that issue.

I do, a local reefer here has one and loves it. Heres his build thread on RC if anyone is interested here.

Edit : I went ahead and ordered the Geo CR624. Gotta wait till pay day for regulator :)

Yea I passed on them after reading I don't know how many reviews saying the pumps died all the time. For the amount of money they are new I would expect it to last atleast a yr:eek: which from what I read not many do.
