Well after a long day of picking up and moving my used 240 dt tank/75gal sump and stand I'm wore out and hurting:uneasy:. Got a little suprise when I picked up the tank, it was supposed to be a 220 but when I measured it,it is a 240 long (96x24x25) and it is drilled.Got all the plumbing, bulkheads and whatnot, all for 450.00.Definately needs a good cleaning. This thing is huge, right now I'm thinking it might be too big......not! I just have to get used to it is all (what I keep telling myself). I would start a thread with my progress but this is gonna take forever to get up and running, especially now because this slow economy is finally hitting at work and hours are being cut back and could get worse :uneasy:. Me and one of my friends moved this by ourselves,1/2 inch thick glass and is HEAVY, need some major karma for that. Here are some pics so I don't get scolded.

ahh...stinky vinegar...what I figured but was hoping for something that smelled better.Wife is already about to kill me,now I got to stink up the house. She just don't know whats to come, I basically have to buy everything as far as equipment. About 120lbs of live rock and the heater "bout all I will be able to use from my 55gal.

when you pick up a used tank like that, do you leak test it before putting it inside?

Congrats on the new tank. Now there are several of us with 200+ gallon tank builds. I am looking forward to seeing it come together. Are you planing closed loop?
