    Hi All,

Well my wife and I took our daughter to the new Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta yesterday, and let me tell you, it was the BEST aquarium I have ever been to. It is absolutley amazing. We spent 3 hours there, and barely made a dent in the things to be seen. They have an 8.5 million gallon ocean tank that has whale sharks in it, plus all types of sharks, rays, and deep water fish. The tank is viewed from a tube that runs through it, and a viewing wall that is nothing short of enormous. They have 2 whale sharks now, but the tank is built to house up to 5 - if that gives you any idea of how large the tank is. They have another tank that houses 5 Beluga whales. The whales were rescued for a cut rate amusment park in Mexico. It is sad to see the scars and healed over ulcers on them from there former life, but also very heart warming to see how well they are doing in their new environment.

Additionally, they have the coolest reef tank I have ever seen. It is huge (Picture attached). Right now it is about 70% artificial coral, but it is seeded will thousands of frags. Their goal is to remove all of the artifical coarl over time. I could not get the whole tank in this picture, but you will get a feel for the size of it by seeing the number of people in front of it (Don't know any of these people by the way, just a random shot).

Anyway, I will write more and post more as time allows. For now, all I can say is make plans to get to ATL and see this aquarium. It is the largest in the world, and it is amazing.

If you are running Win XP
you can download and install this

It will allow you to right click on the JPG and in the menu will be a new option called resize use it to resize the pic. It will create a copy and not wreck your original file

    Try this too:
If the JPEG is straigt from your camera, open it in Windows Paint and save it as another file name. For whatever reason when I do that, it shrinks the file size about 20 - 25 percent.

Great. If you go, make sure you go on line to buy your ticket and make a reservation. If you have a reservation you can walk right in. If not, you have to wait in line for about an hour. They do a really good job of traffic control. There were a lot of people outside, but they really kept the crowds to a minimum in side.

Let me know how you like it!
