    Was eating at a restaurant yesterday and they had what looked like huge Mushrooms. They were almost the size of my hand.

    Anyone have any or know where toget?

    They were probably Hair Mushrooms. Here is a picture of mine. They can get pretty large. I started out with two.

    Those are pretty cool, Ive never seen them in the LFS around here.

    Where can you get them?

    Probably elephant ear mushrooms.

    Most likely a portabella mushroom... MMMMMMmmmmm..... ;D

    I'd imagine one of those hairy mushrooms would taste terrible, although people do eat sea cucumbers. :p

    I was in China during the Chinese new year for work and was invited to a very traditional Chinese New Years dinner. 10 courses of some of the grossest things, sea cucumber was at the top of the creepy list but I ate it anyway as to not offend.

    BTW, jellyfish tentacles aren't much better.;D
