What is the best epoxy or glue to use to glue the corals to my live rock. I got them from Fosters and Smith and some have plugs, argonite pourus material, and a fire ceramic block. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

I have figi and marshall island rock, not many holes in them and the ones that are there are too small for me to fit the corals in. I have already cut down the pourus argonite but dont want to get to close to the coral. Thanks for any help

super glue gel from wally world. just make sure it says cyanoacrylate on the packaging, and make sure it is gel as the liquid is tough to work with. i have used it many times in my tank

If they are on plugs, the two part epoxy is much better. Superglue is good for gluing a fragged coral to a plug or rock, but not for a frag plug to rock under water.

As far as epoxy goes, you can use the standard Oatley epoxy stick stuff sold at any hardware store - much cheaper than "reef" epoxies, just as safe, and will cover in coralline better than some of the reef epoxies.

For super glue, standard super glue gel works. It has to be labeled "cyanoacrylate".

Hey thanks a lot the super glue gel worked great. Just wondered if there was any other brand of epoxy that I could use, what chemicals do I need to stay away from??

I got some 2 part epoxy glue from Hobby Lobby...will that work? It says it's not food safe, but does that mean it is not safe for the reef tank?
