    I had a guy come in and say that most gobys only live two years is that true?

    not even close it takes 2 years to fully mature in most cases

    not at all. There is a thread on reef central about fish aging where a man has posted pictures of his YWG as they have aged 14 years.they turn gray with age.
    Corailline has a YWG that has turned gray with age. she could tell you more about it.
