good algae?

    hey guys, is hair algae good? and if i get a shaving brush plant or a mermaids fan would the hair algae go away?

    hair algae = > bad.......check phosphate and nitrate levels...also looks as if you have a bit of cyno too

    Check your water chemistry and your lighting period. for how much lighting you have, you may have it on to long. That happened to me and it wasnt fun trying to get rid of the hair algae. But i believe some fish will eat it. If your tank is big enough a foxface could help in aid of getting rid of it. good luck

    Considered bad. Not really all that hard to get rid of though.
    Get a couple of mexican turbo snails ;)

    no, i haven't had the light on for 4 days XD i wish i could actually see the fish. The foxface is way out, i have an 8 galllon biocube. i have an Amphiprion Occelaris (Black Clownfish) and a Synchiropus Ocellatus (Scooter Blenny, Occelated Dragonet). I use R/O DI water and use multiple things to keep nutrients down. Like Amquel, and Phospure.
