So recently up to my travels to the Dr Foster and Smiths Retail store here in Wisconsin. They had a TON of red/green/spotted etc mandarins. Ive always wanted a red mandarin and the price was pretty good IMO, 19.99 :). I asked if any of them have been eating prepared foods. The guy said "only the spotted ones, But lets feed them and see." So we fed the one I was interested in, Just for giggles, and he ate a bunch of Mysis.

Soooooo... The fish came home with me. After the mandarin was introduced to the tank, He was nowhere to be found, Well I was feeding my corals some brine/mysis and found him finally almost 30 hours later. And gave the baster a light squirt and food landed around him, He looked around and Paused then BAM he started inhaling the mysis :)... This really made my day!!! Hopefully he keeps it up!.

You wont get nothing from the mandarin just yet, Hes more into hiding right now and staying in the inner rock work so it seems.
