good options, which one?

Which one should i add to my filtration? Purigen, chemipure, carbon? I want to order some so please give me your ratings and what it did for your water. Good or bad? which do you recommend?

I use purigen - great for nitrates

 

I actually use both Chemi-Pure and Purigen together. It seems to work well.

 

Is that all its good for? Is your water clear AA (as advertised)? any other comments about it?

 

I was about to ask if i could do both! haha what "bag" or filter pad do you put it in?

 

They both come in their own bags. Purigen comes in it's own bag with the smaller units. I'm using the 100ml serving. Both are great at polishing the water with the main difference in Purigen is that it removes organic impurities without removing beneficial trace elements. This is good unless you have certain corals that are capable of releasing toxins in the water column when they are stressed. Purigen can't help you there, but this is where Chemi-Pure or just about any other carbon steps in and does what Purigen doesn't do.
