The only real good thing about a Mac is the OS. Windows sucks, but the pc its self has way more. Just look at my gaming rig, and compare to Mac. Nuff said.

I used macs extensively for 9 months. I don't have time to wait around for a $1,000 mac to finish a task my $400 PC (including OS) completed in 1/4 the time.

I also don't like the idea of having to purchase a new computer every time I want to upgrade. Personally I like the idea of being able to pop the cover and swap out some parts.

I have a Macbook and I personally wouldn't buy one again. I can get a Dell xps with a 2.4 core 2 duo, nvidia 9400 m, 4 gig of ram, 320gig 7200 rpm hard drive, 13.3" display, for $900. To configure a Mac laptop with similar hardware would cost twice as much. I'll just drop Mac os x on the new Dell machine.
