got my new clownfish

So I bought a clownfish from my normal fish store 2 weeks ago, and was suppose to get a 2nd clown the following week. Well the following week, when I went in I was bummed they only had large clowns so I passed. This week same thing they only had clowns much larger than my current one. So I drove half an hour to another fish store who had little clowns in stock and got my new clown. Since I only have the 3 fish I don't have a QT tank yet, but that is my project for this week is to make one. Everything seems to be going well I acclimated the new fish, fed everyone in the tank and kept the lights off for 4-5 hours. So far they seem to be getting along and I actually think the new fish is going to take the female position as it has already put our original clown in it's place a few times and our clown showed submission right away.

I'm trying to get a good pic but they won't sit still,lol. Things are still going good, no fighting. They swim together a lot and last night the both slept in the upper left corner.

 

sounds like a match made in heaven! just wait though, chances are if they're smaller clowns around an inch or so, when they mature, they may fight a bit! Not trying to scare ya, just be ready! Glad you're setting up a QT!

I know I'm sure there will be more fights they are quite small still. But things are going good so far.
