well I went and looked at the 60 gallon I found on craigslist and I was very pleased with the size. I was originally looking for a 75 gallon but I got a fair deal on this and I actually like the fact that its not as tall as the 75. and its also a very clean tank, I didnt find a scratch on it

You don't see many shallow depth tanks. I really like them. 60 gallons is a good size too. I ave a 75g and can see the depth as being a future problem when it comes to keeping the glass clean. I the demensions are something like 40 x 18 x 18 inches?

This should be a good build.

thanks, its 48x16wx17h. the only thing I really need is a light, more sand and more live rock, Im just going to transfer everything from my 40 gallon to it when we move out of our appartment so I will have a few months to get everything ready for the transition. right now I am decideing if I should get it drilled or not

Nice. What are your plans when it comes to stocking the tank? Will it be another reef?

I am really wanting to do LEDs but might just go with a 4 or 6 bulb tek light. I am just transfering all my livestock from my 40 gallon into the 60 gallon, my tomini tang will like the extra room. and the 40 gallon, my girlfriend fell in love with a baby lemonpeel angel we saw at the store, it was about an inch n a half and I had to tell her we couldnt put it in my tank, so I might just let her put in some fish she likes and it can be her fowlr tank... that I will have to maintain lol. she gave me the money for the new tank so I guess its only fair that I give her the 40 gallon
