    States rights has been a hot bed discussion for many years now. I agree eith BL that we're headin away from states rights. Medical pot is a prime example.

    yup yup, i agree....its really going to be hard for the states to gain power simply because the constitution wavers in the federal gov favor...

    The Constitution does not waver in the Federal government's favor IMHO...if favors the individual's rights in most cases and limits the role of federal goverment (in it's orginal form with the Bill of Rights). A strictly construed view favors state's rights over federal SO LONG AS the constitutional right of the individual is not being infringed by the state (whether it be by state laws or state constitution).

    Have you read the Constitution Bruce? I am just curious, and not just the Preamble LOL! ;) I must admit, it has been a while for me... A good background is to read a bit about the framers as well, and see where they were coming from at the time...
